Obsidian study vaults · medicine · law · business

Study like you mean it.

Your lectures, cases and formulas are scattered across PDFs, group chats and a half-finished Google Doc. StudentObsidian gives you a finished Obsidian vault built for your exact degree — dashboards that update themselves while you write, templates for every note you'll ever take, and two plugins already set up. What every vault has

The honest list. Each vault is a complete system — not a pile of pretty templates.

  • 📊 3 self-updating dashboardsSemester overview, per-course hub and exam tracker. They read your notes and rebuild themselves; you never edit them.
  • 📝 Templates for every note typeOne note per thing, with the right fields pre-filled. A lecture, a case, an assignment — the template is already there.
  • 🔌 Dataview + Templater pre-installedUnzip, click “Trust author”, done. Nothing to configure.
  • 🎓 A worked exampleOne fully linked course so you can see how it fits together, then delete it and start your own.
  • 📚 Plain Markdown, offline, no subscriptionYour notes are files on your disk. They work on a plane and they'll still open in ten years.
  • ♾️ Lifetime updates + email supportOne payment, every future version yours.

Why Obsidian, not another app

  • Your notes are your files — plain Markdown on your disk. No lock-in, no export button to beg for.
  • Works offline — the lecture hall, the plane, the cabin. No connection, no problem.
  • Free forever — Obsidian itself costs nothing. No subscription for your own notes.
  • More powerful queries — Dataview asks questions of your notes that Notion's rollups can't.
  • Built for active recall — flashcards and spaced repetition are a plugin away, and the vaults already write cards for you.

StudentObsidian is not affiliated with Obsidian. We make vaults that run on it.

Questions

Do I need to know Obsidian already?

No. Every vault ships with a Start Here note and a README that get you running in about two minutes. If you can unzip a folder, you can run it.

What exactly do I get for $79?

A ~600 KB ZIP — a complete Obsidian vault with self-updating dashboards, templates for every note type, two pre-installed plugins, a worked example, and lifetime updates plus email support.

Is this a subscription?

No. One payment, yours forever. The files sit on your disk as plain Markdown — if StudentObsidian disappeared tomorrow, your notes would still open in any text editor.

Does it work on my devices?

Anywhere Obsidian runs: Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android. Obsidian is free; syncing between devices is your choice (iCloud, Dropbox, Obsidian Sync, a git repo — the vault doesn't care).

Which vault should I buy?

The one that matches your degree. Medicine or nursing → MedicineForge. Law → LawForge. Business, economics or MBA → BusinessForge. The core is the same; each adds the templates and dashboards your field actually needs.

What if I switch majors?

The core of all three is identical, so a law student who pivots to business will recognise everything and only gain a few new templates. Email support and we'll help you move.

$79. One-time. Yours forever.

A ~600 KB ZIP, lifetime updates and email support. No subscription, no account, no internet required after download.
