Rereading feels productive. It mostly isn't.
Anatomy, pharmacology and pathology are largely recall problems. Rereading a highlighter-soaked textbook feels like work and mostly isn't — retrieval under mild difficulty is what actually moves facts into long-term memory. And when you're on placement, the notes you take in the corridor are a different problem again: they need to be structured, de-identified, and findable in six months when the OSCE arrives.

Why this vault leans on spaced repetition
Anatomy, pharmacology and pathology are largely recall problems. Rereading feels productive and mostly is not; retrieval under mild difficulty is what moves facts into long-term memory.
So the card templates write themselves as you take notes. Every anatomy and pharmacology note ends in a Question :: Answer block. Install the Spaced Repetition plugin and your whole vault becomes a review queue, scheduled by how well you actually did — not by how many pages you turned.
Clinical placement is the other half. Every case you see goes in 08-Clinical as a SOAP note plus one reflection line. By your OSCE you have a personal casebook that no textbook can give you.
About patient confidentiality
Do not put real patient-identifiable information in this vault. Names, dates of birth, national ID numbers, addresses, photographs and record numbers all fall under patient confidentiality and data protection law, and a synced notes folder on a personal laptop is not an approved clinical record system.
Write cases the way a textbook does: “72-year-old man, three days of dyspnoea.” That's the version you learn from anyway. Identifiable notes belong in your placement's own record system — not here.

No. A Start Here note and README get you running in about two minutes. If you can unzip a folder, you can run it.
